The Great Oak stands at the head of an environmentally special valley near Gocek, South West Turkey where the journey in the footsteps of St. Paul started in September, 2000 ending in the Holy City of Konya, the resting place of Rumi, the great Persian philosopher and saint. This is the title page to the collection of poems entitled “ The Anatolian Journey” , published privately by Counterpoint Arts.

Different forms of graphite, conte and pastel were used, drawn , dragged and repeated until the bark comes alive.
