The panels depict the four-week journey from Advent to Christmas and from separation to unity.

The bottom panel is called The Sleeping Self, followed by In the Darkness-Rebellion. The third panel represents the Four Elements and the top panel is entitled the Angelic Presence.

It accompanies the poems written for Aanna Colls, Artistic Director of Counerpoint Arts who composed the music for soloists, choir and orchestra. First performed in November, 2000 in East Sussex.
